Currently in transition from an apartment to my new house and I used QRM. As my move-in date has changed several times and ultimately ended up resulting in my furniture, going into their in-house storage, Stuart was gracious and understanding and gave no fuss about my own uncertainty of my situation.I was assigned Scott, Dezmond (Dez for short), and How and we had a great time. Because my friend was going into storage, Scott kept a detailed sheet of everything that was loaded into the truck. Dez was responsible for preparing the big items (couch, dining room table, barstools, and futon) and How transported to the moving truck. My brother did break down my bed and the desk, but Scott and Dez wrapped everything and moved it.Once the guys packed up and left, I still had a little bit of stuff left in my apartment. I went through and separated the big ticket/expensive items that I wanted in my possession and my mom took those to her home. Everything else, I was able to contact Stuart and he let me come in the next day and add those items to my storage.I had a wonderful experience and once I get my house squared away, I will be requesting the same crew to move me in, availability pending.

My sister used Quick Reaction to move and was very impressed with their move team. They were efficient, courteous, and went above and beyond to make this move go smoothly.Because of my sister’s satisfaction with Quick Reaction I used them for my own move last year which required a delivery to a storage unit and then on to my new home. The team was awesome.My daughter is now in need of a move company and will have several locations to pick up and deliver items. recently hired this company for furniture disposal, and they delivered an excellent experience from beginning to end. QR Movers overall did an excellent job. Our lead, Justin, made sure everything in our house was inventoried, packed and protected correctly. Though he ran into a few hurdles with the crew, he handled it professionally and personally, I would rather see someone hold his guys to higher standards and keep them accountable than not. Communication throughout the whole process was key as we moved from the DMV area to NC (in the cold rain). We had one item that was damaged, but QR Movers moved the claim through the process quickly and all is well.

The initial estimate was provided quickly and the person was very professional, knowledgeable, and instilled confidence in the high expectations held for their team. The professionalism and quality described made me assume they would have the highest price. However they were within $10 of the other quotes we received, and with the teacher discount they offer, ended up coming in under. On the day of the move they were prompt and friendly. They worked the whole time and got the job done within the estimated time. I’ve only ever had my brother move me as he is also a professional mover. He wasn’t available this move and I worried that things wouldn’t be done at the same standard. However, my brother, with 20+ years of experience and insanely high expectations and efficiency would also have been happy with this team.

Highly recommend QRM. On time and professional starting with Stuart who provided our estimate. Our moving team of Scott, Chris, Michael and Q were outstanding ! We have had four previous moves to compare against and can say the packing and loading process flowed well. Chris was especially informative during a brief conversation we had, and Q was the courteous one asking if the volume of the music he played was ok while he packed. Scott was the muscle man. Amazing what he could carry. Michael did every thing well. QRM now has our household items in storage and we are looking forward to having our new home completed and QRM reversing the process on the other end.

Scott and Mike did my daughter’s move from her storage unit to her townhome on Saturday, 5 July 2025, and did an excellent job, and in a timely manner! They moved everything out of storage very carefully, with ease, then moved everything right into her townhome with no issues, and worked well as a team. Quick Reaction Movers has a great website and diligent staff who walk you through your quote and scheduling logistics. (We had a three-stop, interstate move that took 12 hours on moving day, so staying organized was important!)Then there was their spectacular team: I’ll call them Team Scott and Mike! They essentially did 2.5 moves all in one day, with furniture pickups at three sites, and two unloads. They also did some furniture disassembly; they were extremely careful with our things; and, above all, they were kind and professional.I’m thrilled that we’ve moved into our forever home, and won’t have occasion to move again in 20 years. ;-) So, trying to pay it forward by encouraging anyone looking to move: go with Quick Reaction.

Stewart, Michael and Azon were great. We live in a 3 story townhouse and moved into another 3 story townhouse which is not an easy move. They were quick and good at problem solving. We had a couch that was to big to fit down the staircase and they found a way. Would highly recommend this team for moving. Price was reasonable as well.

I sold a piano and Quick Reaction Movers was hired by the buyer. The guys were pure professionals. From the truck being fully protected to secure the piano to the technic and precession used to move the piano out of the house. All this in a matter of 15 minutes. We're doing a renovation and needed to clear our entire first floor of furniture, moving some to other parts of the house and storing the rest in the garage. Chris & Michael made quick work of the job and were easy and pleasant to work with. They were even able to handle our large reclining sofa, which I knew came apart but had no idea how (they quickly got it separated, wrapped, and stored). I've hired other moving companies before for moves and rearranging furniture, but this was the first time I didn't feel like I needed to oversee the work. Chris & Michael understood what I wanted, they worked quickly throughout the whole job, and came and found me when they had questions. I will definitely be hiring Quick Reaction Movers again when it's time to put all of my furniture back and for any future moving needs.

The team that came out, John and Howell, were amazing. I have moved many times over the years and this team far surpassed any other movers I have ever hired. They were extremely courteous, professional and extremely thorough. Lucky you! You have found Quick Reaction Movers, so you don't need to search for a mover any longer! QR just moved my belongings out of state, and from beginning to end, they were perfect. Stuart, John, and Chris were amazing! I am so glad I found Quick Reaction Movers to help me with my move from Lorton, VA to Chicago, Illinois. They were on time, and loaded up my 1-bedroom apartment in about 2 hours. They even had to work in rainy/snowy weather, but that didn’t slow them down. A huge reason I chose Quick Reaction is because I didn’t have to share a truck with anyone else. The movers drove straight to Chicago which really made my move much easier for me. Once we got to Chicago they continued with their amazing work and unloaded my things in my new apartment, again working very quickly. Moving is never fun, but Quick Reaction Movers made it a breeze!

A critical part of our bathroom remodel, our new vanity, was delivered to our garage in one piece (base and top) so it was really heavy. We needed to have it moved from the garage up stairs to the bathroom. So I called Quick Reaction Movers to move it up there and put it in place for us.The crew arrived and began to cover the vanity in moving blankets and wrapped it in wide plastic wrap so it was protected during the move. It took just 15 minutes to get it through the house, up the stairs and in place in the bathroom. They were very careful to protect our vanity and our house. We are so thankful they were able to do this for us. We are very satisfied with how the move was completed. I will definitely call them for any type of move we need in the future..

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Every positive thing I read in the reviews was accurate! Initially I spoke with Stuart and after he came out to the house he was able to give an estimate…which was far less than we were expecting!We had scheduled our move for the day before we closed on our house…unfortunately closing did not happen so we had to reschedule. Stuart was very patient and understanding and when we were finally able to schedule the move, they were able to fit us in with less than a week’s notice!On moving day, the movers contacted us before they headed out to the house and gave us updated ETA. After a quick assessment of the house, they explained how they would load the trucks and went straight to work. We were impressed by the work ethic of these movers. They kept things moving and even though it was super hot outside, that didn’t slow them down. Jalyn led the crew on day one and Desmond on day two. What impressed me most was how they kept the crew on task and also gave suggestions as they worked and were very respectful to each other as well as with us!Thank you, Quick Reaction Movers, for taking the stress out of moving! AMAZING!!!!!! Where do I even start?! Chris and Malik were my movers and they were on time (actually early which was even better!) and ready to go. They were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Even with a major hiccup, as my building’s power went out one hour into moving my things out. I live on the 15th floor and it stayed out for 1.5 hours but that didn’t stop them from improvising! We had one elevator to work with that was on an emergency generator and they STILL got me moved out and moved into my new place (lots of stairs) under the quoted time. No damage to my walls or furniture. If you need movers, HIRE THEM!!! You won’t regret it. Thank you again, Chris and Malik, for making such an anxious day turn out great!

This was my first time hiring movers and my experience with Quick Movers far exceeded my expectations! My two movers arrived and worked incredibly efficiently. They showed respect for me and my items. At my new home, they quickly unpacked the truck and helped me set up new furniture. There was also some difficulty with the reserved parking space - my movers were so patient and understanding despite this. Overall, I will be recommending them to everyone!

I recommend.Moving from one-bedroom apartment to townhouse with Quick Reaction Movers was very a nice experience. It took 2 hours with a crew of 3 movers including a 25 minute drive. Easy fast process, friendly people working with care. No damage to doors, walls and furniture. No changes in price, although our inventory list has been slightly increased. We have paid minimum price for a 3 hour team of 3 movers. But we have disassembled and packed almost everything ourselves before the day of the move. We had only a few items for which we did not have enough blankets.
