The team that came out, John and Howell, were amazing. I have moved many times over the years and this team far surpassed any other movers I have ever hired. They were extremely courteous, professional and extremely thorough. They took the utmost care with my furniture to ensure that nothing was damaged and used protective wrap and protective blankets to carefully move everything. They took their time; never rushing and were also very efficient. Best company I’ve used before! Thank you so much John and Howell! I appreciate you greatly! Lucky you! You have found Quick Reaction Movers, so you don't need to search for a mover any longer! QR just moved my belongings out of state, and from beginning to end, they were perfect. Stuart, John, and Chris were amazing! I am so glad I found Quick Reaction Movers to help me with my move from Lorton, VA to Chicago, Illinois. They were on time, and loaded up my 1-bedroom apartment in about 2 hours. They even had to work in rainy/snowy weather, but that didn’t slow them down. A huge reason I chose Quick Reaction is because I didn’t have to share a truck with anyone else. The movers drove straight to Chicago which really made my move much easier for me. Once we got to Chicago they continued with their amazing work and unloaded my things in my new apartment, again working very quickly. Moving is never fun, but Quick Reaction Movers made it a breeze!

A critical part of our bathroom remodel, our new vanity, was delivered to our garage in one piece (base and top) so it was really heavy. We needed to have it moved from the garage up stairs to the bathroom. So I called Quick Reaction Movers to move it up there and put it in place for us.The crew arrived and began to cover the vanity in moving blankets and wrapped it in wide plastic wrap so it was protected during the move. It took just 15 minutes to get it through the house, up the stairs and in place in the bathroom. They were very careful to protect our vanity and our house. We are so thankful they were able to do this for us. We are very satisfied with how the move was completed. I will definitely call them for any type of move we need in the future..

I have moved all over the world and never experienced the professionalism I experienced with moving my things. The two young men worked so well as a team and handled all of my thing with care. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Every positive thing I read in the reviews was accurate! Initially I spoke with Stuart and after he came out to the house he was able to give an estimate…which was far less than we were expecting!We had scheduled our move for the day before we closed on our house…unfortunately closing did not happen so we had to reschedule. Stuart was very patient and understanding and when we were finally able to schedule the move, they were able to fit us in with less than a week’s notice!On moving day, the movers contacted us before they headed out to the house and gave us updated ETA. After a quick assessment of the house, they explained how they would load the trucks and went straight to work. We were impressed by the work ethic of these movers. They kept things moving and even though it was super hot outside, that didn’t slow them down. Jalyn led the crew on day one and Desmond on day two. What impressed me most was how they kept the crew on task and also gave suggestions as they worked and were very respectful to each other as well as with us!Thank you, Quick Reaction Movers, for taking the stress out of moving! We appreciate you and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a moving company!

AMAZING!!!!!! Where do I even start?! Chris and Malik were my movers and they were on time (actually early which was even better!) and ready to go. They were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Even with a major hiccup, as my building’s power went out one hour into moving my things out. I live on the 15th floor and it stayed out for 1.5 hours but that didn’t stop them from improvising! We had one elevator to work with that was on an emergency generator and they STILL got me moved out and moved into my new place (lots of stairs) under the quoted time. No damage to my walls or furniture. If you need movers, HIRE THEM!!! You won’t regret it. Thank you again, Chris and Malik, for making such an anxious day turn out great!

I recommend.Moving from one-bedroom apartment to townhouse with Quick Reaction Movers was very a nice experience. It took 2 hours with a crew of 3 movers including a 25 minute drive. Easy fast process, friendly people working with care. No damage to doors, walls and furniture. No changes in price, although our inventory list has been slightly increased. We have paid minimum price for a 3 hour team of 3 movers. But we have disassembled and packed almost everything ourselves before the day of the move. We had only a few items for which we did not have enough blankets.

The quick reaction move her crew that included Desmond, Tucker, Chris, Barnes and Darius were great to work with. They came in and observed everything made notes and pretty much got to work. Part & Calvin were awesome!!!! If you need quality movers who use their time wisely and do not BS, request them! Quick Reaction movers did not disappoint from the beginning to the end. I hired Quick Reaction Movers to assist with a move from Richmond, VA to Washington D.C. For those who aren't local to the area this trip involves navigating a particularly awful stretch of 95 North. The movers hung in there through a 40 minute traffic slowdown, and charged less than my original estimate despite the increased time.

I recommend this company to anyone that is moving in the area they cover! They were so kind and helpful. I did the boxing myself, but I couldn’t carry everything by myself. After 15 moves, QRM has been the best company I have ever experienced. They responded to my request for a quote immediately and offered an affordable price. The day of the move, they showed up promptly, had great attitudes, and most importantly they HUSTLE HARD. I had 3 flights of stairs up to my condo and I just knew they were going to run up the price. I hired Quick Reaction movers specifically for their packing service that came highly recommended. For reference, my apartment was a fully furnished two bedroom being moved into to storage containers for a move across the country. Chris and the team at Quick Reaction Movers made my move one of the quickest, easiest, and stress-free moves I've ever done. We had furniture from two different locations going to one, and despite dealing with multiple loading docks/freight elevators, they were done in just a few hours. They also handled moving furniture out of a small row house with narrow hallways and doorways with ease, wrapping all of the furniture for us and making sure nothing was damaged during the move. The team was super friendly and trust worthy and I'd recommend their service to anyone in the DMV area looking for small or large moves!

Where do I begin. The move went incredibly well and unbelievably fast but honestly the best part about Quick Reaction Movers was the quality of the gentlemen doing the moving. Incredibly nice people. Did not need a single thing from my girlfriend or I and finished the job in no time. Five starts, would recommend.

I used QRM for a work move and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The team worked hard with me to make sure the move worked with my budget.The movers were great and took such amazing care of my stuff. In past moves there has typically been one thing or another that got damaged and I can confidently say that none of my items were damaged.If you are looking for an amazing, flexible, professional, careful moving service… look no further. I moved to a new building and was having a hard time getting my piano up two flights of stairs and into the apartment. Quick Reaction Movers responded with a quote within an hour of submitting the request. The two men who showed up to move the piano were on-time, friendly, and did a great job.

Scott and his crew came out on two days, for two jobs, and they were FANTASTIC! I was really stressed out about getting everything to fit in one truck (it didn't) but they called in an additional truck to quickly finish the move. They also came up with a very creative way of transporting our trampoline! Highly recommend. Great guys.

We didn't end up going with QRM, but I just had to leave a review because of how impressed I was. I spoke with Stewart on the phone, and he took the time to explain EVERYTHING to me, was very transparent about the entire moving process and any fees, and even gave me advice about my search for a moving company, regardless of whether I chose his services. The cost was reasonable, especially for how knowledgeable they clearly are and all of the precautions they take to make for a smooth move, but unfortunately I had to go with a budget option. However, if I wasn't so limited in my budget I would have absolutely gone with QRM for the peace of mind.

Best moving experience I could have imagined. The crew was personable, considerate, and very thorough. Brayden and Jimmy were both very professional and were sure to protect our items and our home in a multitude of ways. Both movers were kind, helpful, and timely. We exceeded our original time frame by 90 minutes, and there were no complaints from the crew. All of the terms were discussed before moving began. They assembled some items for us. I have no complaints, and I would recommend them to anyone.
