I highly recommend Quick Reaction Movers! I needed their help with moving a gun safe. Not only did their quote beat out the competition, but they arrived ahead of schedule. I have moved all over the world and never experienced the professionalism I experienced with moving my things. The two young men worked so well as a team and handled all of my thing with care. They were able to fit all of my things in my storage area. Something I know without a doubt that I could not have done. Thanks for all the hard work and doing it all in a timely manner. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Every positive thing I read in the reviews was accurate! Initially I spoke with Stuart and after he came out to the house he was able to give an estimate…which was far less than we were expecting!We had scheduled our move for the day before we closed on our house…unfortunately closing did not happen so we had to reschedule. Stuart was very patient and understanding and when we were finally able to schedule the move, they were able to fit us in with less than a week’s notice!On moving day, the movers contacted us before they headed out to the house and gave us updated ETA. After a quick assessment of the house, they explained how they would load the trucks and went straight to work. We were impressed by the work ethic of these movers. They kept things moving and even though it was super hot outside, that didn’t slow them down. Jalyn led the crew on day one and Desmond on day two. What impressed me most was how they kept the crew on task and also gave suggestions as they worked and were very respectful to each other as well as with us!Thank you, Quick Reaction Movers, for taking the stress out of moving! We appreciate you and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a moving company!

AMAZING!!!!!! Where do I even start?! Chris and Malik were my movers and they were on time (actually early which was even better!) and ready to go. They were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Even with a major hiccup, as my building’s power went out one hour into moving my things out. I live on the 15th floor and it stayed out for 1.5 hours but that didn’t stop them from improvising! We had one elevator to work with that was on an emergency generator and they STILL got me moved out and moved into my new place (lots of stairs) under the quoted time. No damage to my walls or furniture. If you need movers, HIRE THEM!!! You won’t regret it. Thank you again, Chris and Malik, for making such an anxious day turn out great!

This was my first time hiring movers and my experience with Quick Movers far exceeded my expectations! My two movers arrived and worked incredibly efficiently. They showed respect for me and my items. At my new home, they quickly unpacked the truck and helped me set up new furniture. There was also some difficulty with the reserved parking space - my movers were so patient and understanding despite this. Overall, I will be recommending them to everyone!

I recommend.Moving from one-bedroom apartment to townhouse with Quick Reaction Movers was very a nice experience. It took 2 hours with a crew of 3 movers including a 25 minute drive. Easy fast process, friendly people working with care. No damage to doors, walls and furniture. No changes in price, although our inventory list has been slightly increased. We have paid minimum price for a 3 hour team of 3 movers. But we have disassembled and packed almost everything ourselves before the day of the move. We had only a few items for which we did not have enough blankets.

The quick reaction move her crew that included Desmond, Tucker, Chris, Barnes and Darius were great to work with. They came in and observed everything made notes and pretty much got to work. We stood out-of-the-way while they did what they needed to do to pack, wrap things up and get it on the truck and they came and unloaded everything in a timely, professional manner. I was very impressed with the entire service from getting the quote to reserving everything and making the arrangements and I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to move in the area.

Patt was a terrific team lead as well as his crew, Calvin! They both took time and care every step of the way, particularly when things didn’t run as smoothly as planned. Part & Calvin were awesome!!!! If you need quality movers who use their time wisely and do not BS, request them! Quick Reaction movers did not disappoint from the beginning to the end. This is THE BEST moving company I have had the chance to get to request with, and I’ve had to request A LOT (due to being military). I first spoke to Chris, and he was very friendly and reassuring. The day of the move, Willie, John, and Desmond were quick and amazing! Very communicative about what to pack and what to dispose of. I hired Quick Reaction Movers for a local move from my 1 bed & Den/2 bath apartment to my 2 bed/2 bath condo, and they did an outstanding job! I hired Quick Reaction Movers to assist with a move from Richmond, VA to Washington D.C. For those who aren't local to the area this trip involves navigating a particularly awful stretch of 95 North. The movers hung in there through a 40 minute traffic slowdown, and charged less than my original estimate despite the increased time.

I recommend this company to anyone that is moving in the area they cover! They were so kind and helpful. I did the boxing myself, but I couldn’t carry everything by myself. I highly recommend this excellent moving company. The crew got my big furniture into a very small space with stairs and strange angles and low ceilings. They worked at it and got it done and I've never been so relieved! Plus they had a great attitude and were very pleasant to work with. After 15 moves, QRM has been the best company I have ever experienced. They responded to my request for a quote immediately and offered an affordable price. The day of the move, they showed up promptly, had great attitudes, and most importantly they HUSTLE HARD. I had 3 flights of stairs up to my condo and I just knew they were going to run up the price. During the offload they went into stealth mode because they were finished before I realized it. And only 15 mins over the est?!! They will never know the good they did for me that day. We have multiple heavy pieces of furniture that the team took down a flight of stairs with no issues or complaints. They were extremely careful with all items and did not make any marks on the walls. I hired Quick Reaction movers specifically for their packing service that came highly recommended. For reference, my apartment was a fully furnished two bedroom being moved into to storage containers for a move across the country. They were there to save me at the last min. Chris and the team at Quick Reaction Movers made my move one of the quickest, easiest, and stress-free moves I've ever done. We had furniture from two different locations going to one, and despite dealing with multiple loading docks/freight elevators, they were done in just a few hours. They also handled moving furniture out of a small row house with narrow hallways and doorways with ease, wrapping all of the furniture for us and making sure nothing was damaged during the move. The team was super friendly and trust worthy and I'd recommend their service to anyone in the DMV area looking for small or large moves!

I used QRM for a work move and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The team worked hard with me to make sure the move worked with my budget.The movers were great and took such amazing care of my stuff. Scott and his crew came out on two days, for two jobs, and they were FANTASTIC! I was really stressed out about getting everything to fit in one truck (it didn't) but they called in an additional truck to quickly finish the move. They also came up with a very creative way of transporting our trampoline! Highly recommend. Great guys.

We didn't end up going with QRM, but I just had to leave a review because of how impressed I was. I spoke with Stewart on the phone, and he took the time to explain EVERYTHING to me, was very transparent about the entire moving process and any fees, and even gave me advice about my search for a moving company, regardless of whether I chose his services. The cost was reasonable, especially for how knowledgeable they clearly are and all of the precautions they take to make for a smooth move, but unfortunately I had to go with a budget option. However, if I wasn't so limited in my budget I would have absolutely gone with QRM for the peace of mind.

Best moving experience I could have imagined. The crew was personable, considerate, and very thorough. Brayden and Jimmy were both very professional and were sure to protect our items and our home in a multitude of ways. Both movers were kind, helpful, and timely. We exceeded our original time frame by 90 minutes, and there were no complaints from the crew. All of the terms were discussed before moving began. They assembled some items for us. I have no complaints, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Needed a moving company to help move our big furniture to our new place & I came across Quick Reaction Movers through a Google search. I filled out the online form and about a week later they called back. I talked with Stuart who let me know about the rates & availability. I was able to get the movers for the date specified. Within the week & half till moving day I was contacted a couple times by them to confirm the date & items to be moved. They wanted to ensure if there were any changes to the day or what is to be moved. I was also told that the movers would be contacting me the day of the move to let us know when they would be on their way. The whole communication aspect of the deal was excellent. We all made sure when & what was to happen. We asked what they liked to drink so that we can have something available for them. On the morning of the move we bought some drinks & donuts for them. They did keep their word about when they would call & they were on time ready to move. We ensured that the items to be moved were staged in one area to avoid having to go through the house to move everything. They were quite pleased with that aspect. We responded back with “we like to make things as easy as possible & to make things go smoothly”. They had everything packed up and ready to go with 30 minutes. And they were able to get everything unloaded at the new place within another 30 minutes. The two guys were excellent and would definitely utilize this company again the future & would also recommend them to others.

These guys are AWESOME!! They did a job 5 or 6 moving companies wouldn't even try. The other companies saw the pictures of the route the gun safe would be taking and said No..... QR Movers did it with 3 guys and an appliance dolly. That is hard core. I would expect nothing less from a veteran owned company. They don't shy away from a challenge. If we have any more moving needs we will definitely be looking them up again. Also they give a military discount which was a bonus! Give these guys your business and you won't be disappointed.

QRM were LIFE SAVERS for our move from the NOVA area to Blacksburg. We had multiple other movers cancel on us for various reasons and QRM fit us in even after we told them no the first time around. The whole team was quick and efficient, very respectful of our things, and in general a great group of workers. They picked up our stuff in the afternoon and dropped it off the morning after which made the whole situation a little less stressful. Chris made sure to do a walk through after the pick up to make 100% sure everything that needed to go had been packed up and then called after drop off to make sure everything went smoothly. They have a very high standard of care and we would highly recommend their services to anyone and will definitely use them again if we find ourselves moving within their service area.

The two gentlemen were very professional and worked quickly and carefully to unload our furniture and boxes. They worked together to ensure items were not damaged and got into the correct rooms. After unloading everything, they assisted with assembling the furniture items requested and completed everything in a short amount of time to help us save from time and money.

I hired Quick Reaction Movers for a day-of move after a mix-up with my original moving company. They were life savers! They were able to arrange movers within hours to help me pack and move, and were professional, responsive, and very efficient.
